Say no to Huawei mate 20 pro

Huawei Mate 20 pro is the latest flagship smartphone. Which everyone out there is saying is the best smartphone of 2018.

Here, I want to say all it might be the best, but for the short run not for the long run.

Mate 20 pro is having  some good features like reversible charging . With reversible charging you can charge other smartphone wirelessly. If it supports wireless charging.  I don't think that feature hardly anyone will be using, as with the big screen the Mate 20 pro going to consume battery . So who want's to charge the other phone with the reversible charger when your smartphone itself can have a battery life for a day.

The triple camers module includes 40 MP, f/1.8, 27mm (wide), 1/1.7", PDAF/Laser AF, 20 MP, f/2.2, 16mm (ultrawide), 1/2.7", PDAF/Laser AF, 8 MP, f/2.4, 80mm (telephoto), 1/4", 5x optical zoom, OIS, PDAF/Laser AF is not that great.

If we look at LG's V 40 thinq triple camera module12 MP, 27mm (standard), f/1.5, 1/2.6", 1.4µm, 3-axis OIS, dual pixel PDAF 12 MP, 52mm (telephoto), f/2.4, 1.0µm, 2x optical zoom, OIS, PDAF
16 MP, 16mm (ultrawide), f/1.9, 1/3.1", 1.0µm, no AF which can take better photos than Mate 20 40 MP camera. Whats's the use of that higher pixels. When it will not get the job done.

What makes Huawei Mate 20 pro processor faster. Huawei mate 20 pro comes with HiSilicon Kirin 980 (7nm) with a Mali- G76 MP10 GPU. Mali GPU's are good for mid range phones.

Mali GPU's are not having proper graphics rendering as compared to Adreno GPU's. That's why processing is faster in Huawei mate 20 pro. But the graphics and all you will find is not that much great. Always look for Adreno GPU's if you are planning to buy a flagship phone.

Also Mali GPU's doesn't provide support for newer API versions. So whenever you get a software upgrade it might degrade the system performance.

Mali GPU's are also prone to heating.

Don't expect the performance from Huawei Mate 20 pro for a long run.
