Does security matters in a smartphone?

Security as a matter of fact has never been taken into consideration by any smartphone brand apart from Blackberry.

Why security must be taken into consideration?
If you are connected to the internet. That means any day any time your smartphone may get affected by Vulnerability attack, where your data can be compromised.

Do monthly security patches provide security updates. Yes, it does provides but that is just a single layer of protection that can be broken. No smartphone is providing the security option to the extent what Blackberry is providing.

Blackberry smartphones are having 4 layers of security, which makes the smartphone completely secure. For more information on why Blackberry smartphones are secure do read my previous posts.

Also, Apple smartphones do provide security.

Why security is important , will justify with an example.
I am working as an Information security / Information technology department, our main focus is that how the organization can be safe from vulnerable attacks and how can we prevent it if it occurs.
Recently, one of the employee was using an inbuilt IMAP account linked with the office account. His account security got compromised. Find the attach image

Someone might have tried to gain the access. Due to this our mail service has blocked the account with the immediate action . Here I am not going to mention the smartphone and the brand. But it was obviously not a Blackberry and an iPhone.

My point here is to, keep security in mind while buying any smartphone. Whether they are having good security features or not.

If you are connecting your smartphones to the public WiFi places . At any point hacker can exploit the data from your smartphone. If you are working in an organization. Just keep in mind how much the security is important for any Organization.

Don't just go for any flagship smartphones. Keep the security in mind.
